Sealing Fates

Sunday, March 15, 2009
Breath by breath,
Step by step,
Walking into the light
Unknowing of what future may bring.
A warm grasp,
That guided her path,
The first man she ever loved,
Would leave her,
in the loving care of another.

Pachelbel’s silent intonations,
Sweetly whisper,
The thought of everlasting true love.
Along with the sound of an ode to joy.
Danced did the rose petals,
To the Ritornello,
As they slowly weave through the air,
With enthusiasm

She reached her destination,
A place her heart had been searching for,
He is her life,
He is always there.
She knew his words,
were the truth.
She will not deny him,
The coming days,
Where they could grow old together.

The closing scene of lovers sealing their fates,
With a single kiss,
A kiss that would last through the aging period of time.
