Love’s Visage

Her tousled hair
Swayed in rhythm
With the palm trees of high,
The sand played between her toes,
As the tide begins to hide.
Her visage,
a hinder to the brilliance of the setting sun.
no man,
was worthy of her love,
for it belongs to only one.
He’s departure,
After the epilogue,
Left her in tears and denial,
She forever trapped in that
Shell of resentment.
